Kari Wuhrer was born on the 28th of April in 1967. She is an American actor and singer. She began her acting career as a teenager. She was best known for her role as Maggie Beckett from the TV show Sliders as well as her role as Sheriff Samantha Parker on the horror film Eight Legged Freaks. There are three brothers and sisters. She was a teenage singer who was a regular in the clubs, sneaking away from her family to do so. As an teen, she was a performer in clubs, taking a break from home. Kari, who was then thirteen years old, was enrolled at the Wooster School as well as Tisch School of the Arts of New York University. She also attended drama classes in Columbia University, Marymount Manhattan College, Marymount Manhattan College college, and also the Royal Academy of Dramatic Art in which she was taught by a professor renowned as Uta. Kari began acting when she was still in the teen years. Kari got her first big appearance with MTV Remote Control in 1987.
