Andrea Maria Jeremiah has worked as an actress or musician as well as playback vocalist in Tamil films as well as Malayalam film. Annayum Rasoolum was her Malayalam and Tamil debut. She debuted in Tamil in the film with Pachaikili Muthucharam. Andrea Jeremiah was raised in the same Anglo-Indian family in Arakkonam Tamil Nadu.Andrea's father is a lawyer in the Madras High Court. Her sister, who is younger, is a research assistant from Belgium and is employed in Leuven. Jeremiah was raised in Chennai. He attended National Public School. She starred with Shiva in a Leo commercial for a coffee. Also, she acted as a part of a character in the Podhigai series. She acted throughout India. She played a brief character in the finale of Kanda Naal Mudhal (2005). Gautham Menon enlisted Andrea to be the main character following her performance. she sang in Vettaiyaadu's Vilaiyaadu. Andrea played Kalyani the housewife with a husband who has had an affair. She was threatened with a blackmail. Andrea was selected to play the character following the actors Simran Shobana and Tabu were approached. The film was released at the start of 2010.
