She's among the top performers who have emerged from American Idol. She began experimenting with themes and songs as her popularity grew. They acclaimed her critically and won numerous prestigious awards for her distinct voice and skills. She's been honored with the Grammy Award 3 times. She also has been featured in film and television. She also wrote the book for children called River Rose and the Magical Lullaby as well as been associated with various charitable organizations.
